Hello, and welcome to my first blog post.

My name is Winner, my dad calls me Ucheolise but I prefer being called Olise, and I welcome you to my blog. Considering that this is my first blog post, I'd like to say thank you for taking your time to visit and even proceed to read this.

It wasn't easy deciding to create this blog but here we are, with you being one of my first readers. I'm so excited to start this, and I'm short of words to write in this post.

Well, I'm just a student of the university of Benin who's passionate about writing as it gives me room to express my thoughts and emotions without any restraints. It feels really good to know that I can write without boundaries and with whatever tone I wish to use and even decide the words I use.

It really feels like some impossible task that finally comes through because I've practiced writing as a student for few years and having just about five to seven persons read my work and cheer me or point out my mistakes.

I remember reading posts from writers on Facebook some years back and I was impressed as to how creative and versatile people can be with words. I won't forget my addiction to a blog that time too, recently I haven't been able to access it and I don't know why. Jollofnigerian.com was a blog by a young guy who was in his finals as a law student in a university in Nigeria then. He wrote with so much enthusiasm and I was always going back to read his new works. I guess that's how I knew about my passion for this.

I'm looking forward to having you visit this blog frequently and also get feedback from you as to how you feel about my posts and give your opinions too.

Keep your hopes high as regards this blog because I'm bringing to you stories/articles about life and how it comes at me and everyone else. I'd be sharing with you my thoughts on controversial and likewise sensitive issues that haven't gained much audience to be talked about. I'd also be highlighting my epic failures, glorious wins and how I've been able to walk through them with my shoulders held high.

When you think about this blog, think about whatever pertains to the human life, and that's what I'm bringing to you. We'd talk about relationships as it applies in reality and not the crazy stereotypes flying around the internet. Family isn't left out too; we all come from families, either small or large, and there are certain challenges people face. You'd most likely put your weight of worries away from your shoulders as soon as you read my posts. We'd also get to talk about religion,it's extremists, misconception and several other related topics;and also not leaving out cultural beliefs that cut across Nigeria and several other nations of the world.

I mentioned earlier on that I'm a student, and you'd agree with me that we experience a lot as students, especially in federal universities in Nigeria. I'd also be bringing to you juicy stories about the crazy life we live on campus and how we cope.

There's always that one person and if you're lucky enough, people asides yourself that are willing to push you out of your comfort zone because they see your potentials and believe in you. If you find one or more, keep them because they're just what you need when you feel your energy draining. I've been writing for quite a while and my only audience have been a few of my friends and sometimes,my dad and sister. It feels good seeing people read products of my brainchild.

My friend pushed me to start this, and I'm glad I'm doing it. He helped me create this blog and put me through on how to go about making it look good and also how to create posts. Thank you, Samuel❤

I won't deny the fact that several times, I've seen myself as not a good enough writer and relented on putting effort into this skill, but here I am telling myself continually that I can do it, and the only person that can stop me from doing this is ME.

Everyone needs to challenge themselves at one point or the other because there's always that small voice telling you you can't do it and draining you of your energy. Let this be your motivation. Always say to yourself "I can do it".

Expect to be dazzled as I take you on this beautiful tour of my wild imaginations.

Thank you for reading, and I implore you to visit my blog regularly. Come take a breathe of fresh air.
