Eventually, we would pull through...
Hi guys,
I hope you've been good and staying safe from the virus.
As for me, it's been a busy month. As we all know, schools have resumed and everyone is doing their best to make sure their results for the session come out good. I'm not left out of this set of people.
I've been doing everything possible to make sure I scale through with good grades.
I bet no one saw the events of last year coming. They just came and shook everyone.
It is known by all and sundry that this is a very short session, as federal universities have decided to run two sessions this year; that of last year and this year.
The rate at which we have to go is so overwhelming; the unending bulky and tasking assignments, the presentations, the tests, having to read all night to cover up for the months lost during the pandemic, and then exams.
I know a lot of us are at the verge of losing it, I totally understand. We are still trying to get used to moving at a very high speed academically. This is something that has never happened in our lives, but here we are having to face it like the champions we are.
We are living our reality, and there is really nothing much we can do about it.
You as a student should learn to handle pressure better. I'm not left out of this because I'm also a student. So far so good, I'm learning how to multitask and work under pressure.
I fell ill last week due to too much stress, but I'm good now. I also think I'm coping better than the last few weeks.
I'm still not holding up perfectly, but I'm doing my bits and I only hope my efforts pay off at the end.
I miss the days I sat indoors all day surfing the internet and chatting, lol. It was a much easier, yet complicated lifestyle.
I used to randomly say "I miss writing exams", but here I am hoping ASUU goes on strike for a few weeks so we can have time to cover as many topics as we can without having to bother about the short time we have.
Like I said earlier on, it is our reality and we have to live it.
How have you been holding up? And how have you been managing your "lockdown-aquired" hobbies with school? I know it must be really tedious. I can testify to that. Ever since I resumed school, this is the second time I'm checking up on my blog.
Well, somehow, we would pull through.
The students before us did, so yes, we can also.
You can do everything you want as far as you set your mind to it, and I would love it if you take this as your motivation.
Well, I think this is where I would stop for now. I've missed seeing comments from you, and so I thought it wise to say hi.
Be bursting my brainππa lot of us are really on the verge of loosing it fr,but we'll scale through, thanks for this πππ€
ReplyDeleteYeaa, you're welcome.
DeleteLolzzzzzzz. I liked the part u said at home u were craving for exam to come, then now, u r asking for another ASUU strike, for u to have enough time to read. The field is always greener from the other side.
